Renaissance Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel

The hotel is well located just 8 mins by the free hotel shuttle service from the airport. The room was a good size with a large kitchen king sized bed. There was plenty of storage space, power points tables comfy chair and tea/ coffee making facilities. The bathroom was spacious with an excellent power shower. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide choice of foods available. The staff were very welcoming and helpful offering us additional personal items as our ongoing flight had been cancelled and we had no access to our luggage.They gave us an adaptor for our mobile phone and other necessities.

The hotel that offered a free shuttle bus to the airport, which was very convenient. The hotel was easy to find, and the shuttle ran every 30 minutes, so there was always one available when I needed it. The bed in my room was very comfortable - not too soft and not too hard. It was the perfect balance and I had a great night's sleep. The shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel provided in the room were also of good quality and left my hair feeling clean and refreshed. Overall, I had a great experience at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others.

The rooms were modern and very clean. Good choice of tv channels. The restaurant had many different options for dinner. I found the breakfast was a bit disappointing considering we pay an extra €25.50.

Breakfast was very good, plenty & fulfilled our taste. Staff were friendly , helpful & curtesy’s. In particular Ben at Reception , Guest Service, who exceeded our expectation of service & was very helpful , suggested options and provided with the information about the 2 day festival which otherwise we would have otherwise missed.

The airport Renaissance in Amsterdam was a wonderful experience. We were delayed/cancelled several times trying to get back to the states and so kept extending our time there. The airport shuttle runs almost continuously every half hour and only takes 15 minutes. At the airport you can catch a train or bus into the city center, or stock up on food supplies at the grocery store, or have a decent lunch. We did all that, going there every day. The hotel has a nice restaurant on-site, but it was too expensive to eat there every day, so we often got microwave-able food from the store at the airport. The room had a refrigerator but no microwave ( a “Magnetron” in Europe), but there is one in the lobby. The room was the quietist we have ever been in: no jet noise, no door-slam noise, no hall noise or upstairs foot-tread noise. King bed was comfortable and there were two chairs and a desk it the room. Th desk personnel were very efficient and polite - Ilse from Mexico City was especially helpful and personable. She deserves a raise.
